will the new upgraded suspension parts fit on a 2012 convertible?

I would love to know if this would be an inexpensive suspension upgrade or if it is not worth it.

What upgraded pieces are you talking about? 2012s have a different sway bar altogether. However, from what I've seen under the 2012s, the Lower Control Arm tabs are there for the endlinks on the 10s and 11s. So I would assume you could () bolt up a 10 or 11 model aftermarket bar and endlinks.

I believe the 12s are dubbed the FE4 suspension in the SS. Don't know what the aftermarket world has planned, but it will come!!!

I don't actually know if the parts are interchangeable, but my question is why? Like why buy 2012 parts when you could just get aftermarket pieces for the same price?

I think he's getting a 2012 convertible and wants to upgrade the suspension on it. I don't know of upgrades yet, but they will come.

And the 2012s rear sway bar mount points to the rear cradle are the same. The LCAs also have the tabs for endlinks like on the 10s and 11s

Ah, I didn't know they were doing it that way. Well, then I would assume it's the same sway bar that's on the 10s and 11s. If that's the case, then there are a plethora of aftermarket options available Check with some of the suspension vendors/manufacturers that are on the boards, they'll get you in the right direction.

I can't remember where the thread is, but one shop guy had a 2012 in and put up pics of the new rear sway bar. The LCA looked the same and had the tabs, but the sway bar attached outboard of the shocks. You would have to mod (or get 2012) LCAs in order to connect the sway bar to it. And I don't know if there is an aftermarket option available yet for the FE4 swaybar.

BTW we are already working on upgrades. They are in the testing R & D stage.
We have had the CAD file for some time now.
