I do not have a dyno to use around here. With have to tune it from Jannetty's hand held tuner.

Did you also buy the Janetty 415RWHP kit? It appears to be a CAI, headers, and cat-back. Their website says that it is required for the 470 RWHP Kit, but it's not clear to me why this is specifically needed, and why it's not possible to install whatever CAI/headers/cat-back that I want.

No I did not buy their 415 kit. I already had the CAI, headers, ect.. At first I was going to keep the car stock then I kept progressing with the mods. I told myself I would never tune the car. Now I am doing a cam.

His package is dyno tuned and proven. I am sure you can still make good HP numbers with your own choices.

I am in the exact same boat... I told myself I would stop at just a cat back exhaust, never tune, never mess with drivetrain... now its LTs tune, cai, exhaust with the cam swap next... my only concern is a lot of people seem to be losing 3-5 mpg city with the 3200 TC...

To the previous poster... I don't really know why you would want to do a cam swap without the 415 kit or equal to it?... I don't believe you are reaching the potential of doing a cam without headers and intake? ...I am sure someone with more knowledge can shed more light on that...

Lile you two guys back in Aug of 09 I was going to just do a cai and some headers and Ted's tune. Damn, that seems forever ago. Pollock, goodluck. You def made the right choice!

ok, first Ted says it required because its required to have headers and a CAI
to get results you need/want. you do not need his headers or CAI or even his tune. it does seem kind of confusing.

mostly everyone on this site that is doing a cam has headers and a CAI.

pollock already had something that is equal to the 415WHP kit. so all he needed was a cam kit. i did the same thing.

That is because of they're choice of Converter, You would not lose MPG with a JRE/Protorque converter, because of the efficiency they offer.
