whats best

have a question im going with the magnaflow exhaust and trying to find out what one of these two is the best they are both the comp cat back but I dont know the difference.

Magnaflow Performance Exhaust Competition Series Cat-Back Perfornamce - Part No. 16483

any help informing on the major diff would be helpful.

part number 16483 is a 3" system while 16580 is a 2.5" system. So bigger piping for 16483 which will usually give you a deeper tone and less restriction.

FYI, the 16580 has HUGE 5" tips. While I think they look awesome, some people think they are ridiculously big so do some searching before you buy!

I would use the 16580 if you planning on keeping the stock manifolds. If you plan to add header go with the 16483 as the drone from the 16580 will make your ears bleed if not running cats . I started out with the 16580 and swapped the rears sections for the street series axleback when I added LT's with no cats. I miss the 5' tips as the smaller tips look out of place due to the shape and size of the diffuser.
