Help me get 37 additional RWHP

I have a 2010 2SS M6 and I'm currently at 463 and I want to get to 500.

Considering the mods in my sig, what else can I do? I'm looking to add a FAST intake, which should give me an additional 15 +/- RHWP. (just a guess)

I definitely won't swap the cam out for a larger one and I really don't want to go into the heads, but if I have to go into the heads, I would.

Thoughts, ideas?

Heads would be your best bet bro.

I don't think the FAST IM can do the job. some even say that they don't work.

even with heads 500whp would be hard to achieve with the size of the cam you have. but doable. you would need a very good tune.

If you swap to a bigger cam like for example the LG cam, it would be very achievable.

LG made 530+whp on their Heads/Cam package. I believe it only had the G6X3 and Ported LS3 heads.

Shaved/ported heads. Easy 35-40hp if you bump the compression a point or so

Since you don't want to change the camshaft - the extra fuel/air you'll need has to come from somewhere. Here's what one of my customer did to get there!

just put a little jucie to it thats probley the easiest and cheapest way but theres always fi. depends on money and if you want to go back into the motor or not just my opinion dont know much else you can do
just for the record that was about what i wanted but i cheated lol

Your numbers are just about identical to mine and i am thinking that shaved and ported heads with an electric water pump should put me over the 500 mark and if not it will be very close.

I think the phone mod will get you over the 500 mark Personally I think you should go with the heads. why not?

Just a goal. I don't plan to track it, but I would be interested in what I could do in the 1/4 mile. I'd need an s-load of launching practice though.

Lots of good suggestions here.....

I'm thinking I'll go the FAST intake, heads, and tune route. If that gets me to 500 +/-, I'll be satisfied. (of course I just lied to myself )

if your getting the FAST 102 and not getting the 102 TB then look into the TB ring also.

I'm looking for the same gains also on a very similar setup. My cam is comparable to yours. I just ordered a set of the new TSP aftermarket casting LS3 heads and fast 102. I also have a Vmaxx TB i am adding this week and i also ordered the velocity ring for the FAST 102 to 92 mm TB to smooth the flow a little. I am hoping for 40 or so jump in HP to get me close to 500. Next will be 4.10 gears and a Monster stage 2 clutch once i burn this stock clutch up

The motor only has a thousand miles on it, so my job for the next couple weeks is to get a few hundred or so miles to loosen it up for the dyno?

Ported heads generally result in 25-30 rwhp...depending on the demands from the cam. A cam change maybe needed as well.

I know the FAST intake and TB is not going to pick up that kind of power.

Quickest and cheapest way to do it spray it a little bit but that does not sound like that is the way you want to go with it.

Yeah, no spray for me. I'll probably go the heads and FAST route at some point. I just had the cam installed a couple of weeks ago, so I think I'll enjoy that for a while.

Heads for sure, but you might take care of little things like getting a Meziere EWP, maybe some full roller rockers, and have someone like Terry (SC2150) or Pat G or Tony at Tuners Inc (Orlando) spend some time nailing down your timing tables to squeeze every last bit out.

Typically ported GM heads add roughly 25rwhp. If your looking for more you might consider the PRC aftermarket casting LS3 heads. I think they can get to right in the area you need to be & they are priced very very reasonable. Not to mention you can ebay off your stock heads for $550+...
