Not at all... You can buy them from any race shop. Smilely's, Day Motorsports etc etc. Used them on my asphalt oval track truck/cars...

How hard it is to remove crash support front and rear?

Id say that seats/wheels/exhaust are the biggest easiest way to lose some weight..Congrats on your car Diet, youre a serious racer!!

Takes 5 minutes to R&R them after you pull the bumpers off, which is about a 15 minute job once you know what you're doing. Est. 45 mins to an hour for your first time, maybe? Removing the rear bar isn't that big a deal, since there is a substantial amount of steel unibody there, but the front bar I certianly wouldn't recommend removing. If you got in a collision, it would be very dangerous. There are some light tubular options on the market, or you could just sawzall the bar in half lengthwise like I did originally to save on weight.

Where can you find tubular crashbars?

find u some square tubing or round and have mounts put on the ends. they are simple easy to fab something up. i took mine off and its fairly straight design with a light bend and mounting plates. i know , i know its not safe but **** it. thats about 40+ lbs . if i wreck it its probably gonna be bad anyway lol.

Thanks!! I'll hold on to my crash supports for now since its a 99% street car. I'm planning on going to the 1/4 this summer, wanna have the most out of it! I think 90lbs is gonna be helpful!

17 lb braille
20 lb driver and passenger seats
front and reat bumper supports
front sway bar and end links
the spare tire hole is cut out and flat now
got the exhaust about right under the front seats. i have a magnaflow 2.5 comp series exhaust and i just used the resonated x pipe . so it wont be so loud . just using the front section atm...
need more ideals that wont ruin the car. like stuff u cant see. my next move is littles for the front. i dont make bank so i have to keep things cheap for now.

Pull up the carpet and remove the sound insulation. Free except for time. Rear seat can be pulled and put back in whenever. Windshield washer bottle/pump/lines.

My weight was not as bad as I thought. Dug up my old weight ticket from 8/13/12 it's 4120lb. Been cutting weight all summer got it down to 3760lb and going for more. Both are with out me and a 1/2 tank of gas.
