Question Best tunnel brace for 3" exhaust?

I've got 2 washers playing spacer right now, trying to keep my X-pipe off the stock tunnel brace, and it's still making contact. Any aftermarket stuff out there that might sit a little lower or something to avoid this? Thanks all

My LSR is nice and the price is right compared to others. Didn't measure the extra clearance but its a decent amount; maybe 5/16-3/8"?

You might want to try loosening everything exhaust to include the headers and propping up the the exhaust pipes at the brace with some wood. Then retighten everything.

Had to weld a couple leaks shut, so my options are kinda limited... Will look into LSR, thanks

We run the Magnaflow 3" kit and have no clearance issues. Our Tunnel Brace adds 1/4" additional clearance but we also had to play with the exhaust (rotating tubes and re-clamping) to get adequate clearance. Not sure how a welded exhaust will clear without the ability to adjust it...

I think an extra 1/4 might do the trick- just adding the washers in the lower the brace and extra C seemed to be fine for the first day or two (just long enough for me to get my leaks welded) but after about a week the rattle returned... I've got BMR under the car already, how much for your tunnel brace?

Thanks Brett

Keep in mind that in this picture we also have BME Subframe Connectors installed which add an additional 3/16". You can still see however, that there would be sufficient clearance even without the extra 3/16"
