Sister-in-law is an engineer for Honda

I can't wait to get my IOM in and take it up to the in-laws place in Pittsburgh. My wife's little sister is an engineer for Honda in Marysville OH and she is always going on and on about how awesome Honda is to work for and how awesome the cars are and blah blah. She is driving around in a brand new (9 months old) Accord coupe and she thinks it is the most amazing looking car on the road. I can't wait til my IOM gets here and we go home to see them and park next to her and show her what a truly awesome looking car is.:5thgenvert:

Now I wouldn't mind owning a Honda motorcycle but I'm sorry the Honda cars are.... well.....just plain boring looking to me.....

I love my CBR but and accord is an accord and there a million on the road. I do think the coupe is sweet but still a bunch of them. I should know I drive a civic till my camaro arrives and there are a million of those too.

Yes there is a Marysville PA near Harrisburg and a Murrysville near Pgh. She is living in Marysville, OH. That's where the Honda plant is building the Accord, Civic....

Agreed on so many levels. I miss my Magna every sunny, clear-skied day.. One of these days I'm going to find myself a nice CB 650/750 Nighthawk and never looking back. Probably the easiest to fix and most reliable bikes ever..

Had a buddy go over on his at almost 40mph while dodging an old lady driver (contact was maybe @ 25 but eh). Brushed himself off, and drove the bike on to class a half hour away. Later found he cracked an exhaust pipe clamp but that was a 10 buck fix.

hehe. I am a long time Honda owner, and they really are great cars, but they are not sexy or particularly fast. As the saying goes, there's no replacement for displacement.

The Camaro is sexy and fast! With my Hondas, no one ever came up to me in a parking lot and said, "Man, I love your ride!" Whether your sister-in-law admits it or not, she will secretly LUST after your car.

love my cbr, but sportbikes are the only cool things that honda has done recently. your camaro has more coolness in it than every honda on the road combined

I do really like the newest Accord coupe - I think it's very sexy; especially in black. But let's face it, It Ain't NO CAMARO!! it's just a Honda!

ha ha I agree , never see one in my driveway , I'll walk first , where I come from in my family driving a honda is unheard of . No redeeming qualities for me ...its like a Harley owner driving a Honda , embarassing

We owned a honda.

Yes it's true...a lawnmower. Uncle didn't want it, Dad picked it up and brought it home.

It didn't work. Typical.

Salvaged some parts and threw it out the next day.

My 2010 Camaro 2SS/ RS sits next to my 2006 Acura RL in the garage, right near my
Honda lawnmower and soon near the 2010 Honda Ridgeline (my clunker replacement)
Chevrolet finally got one right, My Honda's have been right since my 1986 Acura Integra. My 1970 Camaro was great, every other GM after that was not memorable, which is why I bought Honda's and VW's.

I have nothing against Honda, and I'd drive a Honda Civic over a Corolla any day. Honda makes family cars for the most part. They don't really make performance cars. Chevy just happened to have the Corvette all these years and Ford had the Mustang. But really these companies bread and butter are the cars that are just middle of the road functional cars. (Well pick up trucks too, but I'm talking about cars)

And for middle of the road functional cars, Honda does a good job with styling for the most part. You have to admit that there really weren't that many good looking cars coming out of either GM or Ford 6 or 7 years ago. They were just "meh" At least Honda tried to stylize their cars a little.

Please tell me I'm not the only one that hated the mid 90's redesign of the Taurus and all the redesigns until the 2010 model...

Ford has gotten A LOT better in the design dept, GM appears to be trying, but personally I still think their cars are too "bubbly" looking But their interiors are nice, compared to what they used to be.

And what stereotypes would that be?

Someone who has chosen a certain commodity has a bad or negative opinion of another that they didnt like enough to chose in the first place.

Barbarians ....
