Pfadt Sways & BC CoilOvers - Installed

I can immediately see that the body roll is gone, or at least a lot of it. Car turns real nice now. I have the coilovers at 15 all around. What setting is good for daily use and what for autox & road course?

I think I'm going to raise the rears a little. Thanks goes to Torq for finishing what I started. I just couldn't stomach going back under the car. I need a lift - so I look forward to purchase & moving into a home when my lease is up.

Now I need to work on this for my sig a little more.

Looks nicccceeeeee. I originally used 15/15...then I wanted to stiffen it up a bit and went with 20/20. The ride wasn't bad but it was too stiff for the factory tires. Also weight transfer was not good at 20/20. I switched to 15/10 and it's much better.

How much did you decide to drop it by? 1.5" out the bottom of the strut?

I left the bottom where they were set. I think about 1 inch. I put 22mm between the lower lock ring and the upper. Going to raise her up in the rear about .5.

Look forward to the autox this weekend....and Sebring in October.

You would be surprised to see how affordable the BC Coilovers are. You should price around.

Call Whiteside Customs.

Thanks - now I need to play with the settings. I want the stock feel when on the streets.

The pfadt sways make a hell of difference in turns.

What holes did you set your stiffness to on hour sways? Someone said it's best to put the stiffest setting in the back and the middle in the front?

Pfadt has one hole in the front and 3 in the rears. You want it stiffer in the rear, but not necessarily the stiffest. I have mine on the middle. You might have some unexpected spin with the rear as the stiffest. I'd leave that for those who heavily track their car with a lot of experience. I've seen too many cars spin out right in front of me on a road course because of putting settings their skill set is not ready for.

That is where mine are set at. It drops it 1.2 inches. It will settle about another 1/4 of an inch after you put some miles on it.

Mine is currently at exactly 647mm at all 4 corners with 1/2 a tank in the car. I filled it up, and the back dropped about 1/8th of an inch.

Right now I am at 15/15, but I will probably go back to 12/15. I prefer a stiffer setting for the rears.

You want the car neutral. Oversteer can be harder to control.

I checked your album - looking for photos of yours at their current height. When you have please advise.

Thanks

Using a measuring tape from the bottom of my rim, to the edge of my fender was exactly 25.5 inches, or 647MM. I have thought about raising mine maybe half an inch also. I think I may be as low as 1.5 from stock height. I originally only wanted a 1 inch drop.

Have you thought about your alighnment specs yet? Are you gonna use the stock specs or something custom?

Stock up front and -1.9 in the rears. I may need to raise her and go get the rears aligned again. Going to leave her like that and see how she does. A little more aggressive when I am about to hit a road course event in Oct.
