Drone

I have a axle back way to loud inside the car. If I put 4 inch foam in the trunk will it work. As anyone done this before thanks guys

you don't need 4" of foam. Just get some FatMat or dynamat sound deadener

You could try the J-pipe method. Haven't read anything bad about it and it seems like a pretty solid solution to reduce and sometimes kill the drone.

Drone and exhaust volume are two different things. I don't mind waking up the neighbors but drone kills me. +1 for J-pipes.

I installed this plus Dynamat in my SS in 2010 and did two threads (7/24/10 with photos). I'm one of the very few here that seemed to care about cabin noise. This new Camaro has NO unibody insulation.
After installing the peel and stick type insulation from the front seats back, my Camaro is now wisper quiet. I then put Solo J-Pipes on and have a deep rumble outside with no drone and almost no noise inside. Worth every penny IMO.
