Sorry to keep beating a dead horse about helmets but I thought it had to be snell SA 2005 or 2010. At the the beginning of the thread it says snell 2005 SA or M are accepted. I just want to be sure.

My understanding is that either are acceptable, as long as they meet these requirements.

SFI Spec 31.1A = Snell SA, open-face helmet
SFI Spec 31.2A = Snell SA, full-face helmet
SFI Spec 41.1A = Snell M, open-face helmet
SFI Spec 41.2A = Snell M , full-face helmet

TOTALLY MY FAULT. I changed the Autocross OP and forgot I quoted it over here.

You are correct; Snell SA 2005 or 2010. No M rated helmets. I'm sorry for any confusion.

I have a Snell SA 2005, but I'm curious. So no M rated helmets for autocross, drag racing or both?

I don't know about the Drag racing lanes, but I believe this was Lucas Oil Raceway's stand about helmets. But no M rated for Autocross is a definate. Mine is 2000 so I've got to go get a new one.

NO M for the AC. SA2005 or SA2010 ONLY.

I can't give you a definitive. With that said, I would say the Snell SA 2005 or 2010 would be good to go on the dragstrip same as it is on the AutoCross.
