Are you running them all the way out or recessing them inside a few inches?

I don't think 5" will fit through the GM GFX ... Just the standard round hole

EDIT: (realized that you wanted the 4" tips... not the 5"ers)

I have 4" factory GFX accessory tips (the rings that came with the GFX kit, that require trimming the stock tips and installing a press-on ring). The factory GFX accessory tips are recessed and there is 3/4" of clearance (just checked) b/w the tips and the bezel. Mine have been on for over 2 yrs, 80,000 miles without problems.

the 5" would probably fit... it would be close... ~1/4 clearance.

3.5" tips are the best you can do without modifying anything. they cut the factory tips so they sit back inside otherwise they rattle against the edges.

This is mine....i went with dual tips to solve that problem....these are 3"

Just be VERY VERY careful if and when you do that, if the HOT exhaust tip is any where close to either touching or flowing on the ground effects it will heat up and bubble.....JUST LIKE MINE DID.....mine bubbled with the factory exhuast (not cut) sitting just inside the hole.....so if your going to do the tips inside....some part of the tip needs to just be inside the hole or it will be very hot in there
