hollow out resonater

hi can these resonaters be hollowed out .I put car on lift .and wanted to do resonater delete. but i noticed theres a slight bend on the resonaters and one is flat on top. i dont think straight pipe is gonna work without bending any ideas thanks

There's nothing in there to "hollow" out.

I replaced mine with an x-pipe. You'll definitely get more sound, but if you haven't disabled your AFM, you're not gonna' like it.

I dont think the AFM resonator is the one he is reffering.

"one of them has a flat top" makes me think he is talking about the smaller, in-line resonators, just before the mufflers.

Perhaps the OP should tell us whether he has an L99 or an LS3. Then we would know.
