8-rib Whipple Pulley Kit
Guys, I'm dealing with some belt slippage so I'm trying to decide between an 8 or 10 rib pulley upgrade kit. Both are ridiculously expensive, but the 10-rib kit is nearly 50% of what I paid for the damn super charger.
Question is, can the 8-rib kit get me down to a 3" pulley without slippage. |

Yes you can get away with the 3" on the 8 rib setup. Look for another tensioner as well.

Let me know if you want to save$ on 8 ribs. Have a bunch of 8 rib billet pulleys.

The tensioner on my Whipple has been great. I haven't heard of any issues...have you?

OK...so this is ironic. After posting about having no problems with my tensioner, we found out it was cracked when we mounted it to the LSX. ARD built me a custom billet manual tensioner and this thing is sic. Ran it at the track this past weekend and the belt didn't budge.
