alignment questionn

is alignment needed if i get ss springs on the v6? i already got the ss sways on the v6, just wondering if alignment is needed after i get ss springs installed

Getting a performance alignment is a good idea even if you haven't lowered it. That being said, I doubt there's enough height difference to make it a absolute necessity.

does anyone have a performance alignment spec for v8 stock suspension? its a dd and is theres anyway i can tweak it to perform better that would be awesome.

Any time you remove the struts, you need to get your alignment checked. Any change to the relationship of the strut at the knuckle causes camber and thus toe change. No way to tell that it is all OK unless you measure it.

you also need an alignment because your ride hight is changing due to the ss ride high is lower than the ls ride hight so the easy answer to your question is yes

Just as Brian mentioned earlier, when you remove the strut it's a great idea to get an alignment... coupled with the small change in ride height with the spring change I would take this opportunity to get a quality alignment done.

Here is a link to our alignment specs. I would start by using the Performance Street spec, that should give you good tire wear and a good improvement in handling over the stock alignment. Pfadt Race Engineering Alignment specs!

thanks for the sheet alignment sheet you provided PFADT, so i just print it out and give that sheet to the guy im getting my alignment done from after i get the ss springs installed on the v6 right and ask him to do it accordingly to the first one?

Yep! Exactly. Those alignment specs are definitely attainable with the stock adjustment bolts.
