It's getting to be Winter..... best cover?

Hello everyone. My name is Scott and I live in Alaska. It's starting to get cold here and the snow is moving further down the mountains. I will be storing my car in my garage this winter and I am wondering what the best cover is. I understand this has probably been covered before (no pun intended), but I am at work and can't spend too much time searching for posts.

I appreciate everyone's help and comments.

Thanks,
Scott

Putting a cover on your car if it is going to be left outside seems like a bad idea to me. With the wind beating the cover up and down on the paint I feel like it will leave some pretty bad marks over an entire winter.

not sure a cover is necessary if you are putting it in the garage.

on a side note, i miss alaska. I used to live in Eielson AFB from 1991-1997.

Just go to Walmart and get a cheap "indoor" car cover. I live in Anchorage and mine is going to sit in a heated garage for 6 months. No need to get anything fancy if it's stored inside a heated garage. $25 or so is what I paid for mine.
