FTW = For The Win. LOL. . I had a Stainless works Catback on my car at first then this week I decided to put Flowmaster Single Chamber mufflers on it and I like them much better. I also got to hear The outlaw series on a camaro in person and I really liked those also. I've not heard the SLP LM2 mufflers on a Camaro in person but from the videos I have watched they're a bit quiet for me.

I have no personal experience with slp loudmouth 2. I have heard it on a couple 4th gens and I am not all that impressed. I personally love the sound of my flowmaster outlaws with arh headers and catless x-pipe.

You see guys...I think the LM II lacks tone

its loud, but quieter than the original loudmouth,

what i see in the outlaw, is that it has "the muscle car sound"

I had the Loudmouth I on my '02 Firehawk along with the SLP LT's, larger SLP y-pipe and high flow cats for about 6 years and loved it at the time. It was pretty loud particularly at WOT and start up, and it did get louder with age, so the car wasn't as much fun to drive anymore since it seemed to attract the attention of the law whenever I drove it.

A few years ago I pulled the LM I off and switched to the SLP PowerFlow exhaust and thought it was perfect. Not nearly as loud as the LM I but it did have a nice deep muscular sound to it and there was no drone or rasp.

I haven't heard the PowerFlow on a new Camaro yet, but you might want to look into that as well.........I'm sure there are some sound clips around here.

I had LM2s on my L99, and after installing them it left me wanting more. The more is Flowmaster. American Muscle, American sound! done right! and they are dirt cheap!

I had Loudmouth 2 axle back when I got my car. It had the SLP ZL 427 package on it and came with it. I loved the sound and would of kept it but I put a supercharger on my car and put cat backs on. I would go with the Loudmouth 2. Good luck man.

MaroFrek – Do you have a video to post of your Flowmaster single chamber mufflers? If so, have you entered our Show Us Your Flows video contest?

We award weekly prizes of T-shirts and hats. We also give away free exhaust systems and a trip to SEMA, Winternationals, US Nationals, etc. For more details on prizes and how to enter the contest, click: SUYF Contest

Judge – We’re a little biased, but we like the sound of the Outlaw exhaust better. We also enjoy watching this video:

Deeboe – Marofrek’s exhaust is a custom install and we can’t wait to hear the video.

The Super 10 Series Flowmaster muffler is a small step quieter than the Outlaw muffler as a general rule.

When we perform our R&D on Cat-Back and Axle-Back systems we make sure they meet a many goals. Here are a few of them: produces more HP and torque than the original factory exhaust system, good Flowmaster signature sound, and is a perfect fit for the car. If you’re looking for an aggressive kit that meets those criteria, is an easy install at home with simple hand tools and has a Lifetime Warranty, the Outlaw Axle-Back is a good kit for you.

I really like my SLP powerflo's but I have LT headers and no cats. IMO the powerflo mufflers have a better tone and are just as loud as LMII's.

MaroFrek – It sounds great! What else have you done to the exhaust? How is it on the freeway?

I have the rear cats deleted, X pipe and all 3in pipe. It was originaly a stainless works catback but I swapped the S-Tubes for the Flowmaster Super 10s. It has a little bit of drone around 1800RPMs, But even my wife dont complain about it

I would get an X-pipe if it was me. I believe they equalize pressure between the cylinders a lot better. As for sound not real sure. I also have my rear cats deleted. I'll shoot another video tomorrow and put it up.
