Talking Why yes I work on the line in Oshawa

Hey y'all I'm just dropping by to say Hello! I work in the plant and can give you a little background as long as it doesn't affect my employment at GM. So go ahead and ask me about the car. I'll tell you what I can. Please don't get mad if it's not the answer you were looking for.

I saw a comment on one of the threads that said "boy are they ever old" well guess what? You're right. The lowest seniority in the plant is 20 yrs. With most of us having 25 or more! Everyone else works on the Impala line here in Oshawa.

I sat in Hendricks car before it had wheels on it and even then it felt FAST! The exaust sound of both the V8 and V6 are something to behold. Are you jealous yet?

Yup...your job is as good as looking at the pole dancers at the strip bar but without having to deal with their issues! You are a lucky man

Are you allowed to speculate as to when Cyber Gray will start being produced? (Unless it has already started, I hope!)

Welcome to the site! Thank you for all the care and attention you all are giving our Camaro's, it is much appreciated! Now to business, have you seen a CGM Camaro, and have they painted all those gray impalas yet so we can start building some CGM Camaros? J/K. I am sure it will be soon. BTW how many a day are being built at this point? Thanks for everything and again welcome to the site!

I'm not up on the actual color name but, we ran a dark charcol grey today! I think that may be the one you are looking for.

I'm sorry my French pal but it would be the end of me to bring in an outsider. But I can tell you this! As I look up the line day after day each car is more beautiful than the next. I am in love with this car. It is the first car in my career that I am truly excited about!

Yes charcol gray would be CGM or Cyber Gray Metallic. Please keep us updated on this color as it was on hold due to Impalas occupying the Gray paint facilities.

What do you mean when you say you ran a CGM today? THANKS

Hi guy,

So maybe you touched #230. This car is built for my daughter Stephanie and I. Did they let you all know about her and her battle with Cancer?

I know they told me some of you knew.

I just pee'd my pants a bit...

Seriously, my dealer called today and said my car could be built in the next few days if I simply changed my mind from CGM to any of the other colors. I was tempted for .5 seconds and then firmly said HELL NO! I can hold out : )
