help-how to install small SS badge onto heritage grill?

I had a heritage grill installed on my new camaro before i picked it up and they gave me my stock grill with the bowtie and ss emblem still attached to it. I would like to take the small red ss emblem and put it on my heritage grill in the same position (off to the right). how can I do this? is there a bracket i can order? maybe from GM; get at a local dealership? other online website? home remedies?

Thank You!

i'll keep that in mind, but does anybody know of a bracket that is made to put it on the heritage grill? i've seen old threads before with a link to a site that supposedly had them, but i can't find them anymore.

I already have the emblem, i'm looking for a solution to mount it. a $10-$30 bracket or something? it's the small emblem that sits off-centered on the lower right. I pulled it off my stock grill and want to put it on my heritage grill in the same spot. i'm not looking to put an SS emblem in the middle.

like this:

this is what it looks like after i took it off my stock grille:

also, does anyone know where i could get the same kind of small red emblem, but instead of it saying SS, it says SS/RS?

Send a PM to 3CamarosOnHand. He's on the NY/NJ regional section in the UpstateC5 threads! He did exactly what you're looking for! I think he rigged up a home made bracket before installing the grill. When I get my Heritage grill I want to do the same thing!

Hey that's my car!

I trimmed the bracket with a dremel to make it fit. Right now it's being held in place with a piece of clay until I can get a more permanent fix implemented.

let me know what your permanent fix consists of when that happens?

right now the only thing i've come across is here http://www.cleancutcreations.com/catalogpage3.html about 4th product up from the bottom of the page. sticks on with tape though, might as well stick mine on with tape. was hoping for a simple bracket (no tape) that snaps onto the grill like it does the stock grill.

I trimmed that big part of the bracket off on the back and drilled 2 holes into the remaining piece and zip tied it to the grill. It is on there great. I did this whenever I changed out the grill though and the front was off of the car.

Ok,

Everyone has been asking for them so we made some.
Brackets to attach emblems to the Heritage grill. This took a little longer than we exected, because we wanted these pieces to be as invisible as possible.

So here is what they offer:
1) Near invisibilty, as you can see in my pictures below
2) Ability to be placed anywhere on the grill, as you can see in my pictures below.
3) These will fit our pieces, or the factory pieces.
4) Solves the problem of keeping your grill emblem, when changing to this grill.

In my pictures I placed two of these on my car to show that they can go anywhere on it, and how they fit. In our end pictures only one or the other will be present in the picture.

What do you think? Thanks, Roger

Can't really post prices in this section of the forum, but they will be approx the same cost as the Stock SS, and RS emblems are.

This one has orange centers but different colors will be available.
This one has mirror frames, but also different material and colors will be available for the frames.

SS emblem for the center of the heritage grill.

Nice!! Glad to see you guys made some.

I machined mine out of delrin. I also went to the dealer and picked up a new badge and left my original grill in tacked..
