Question Driveshaft queation!?

Ok everyone hopefully u guys can help me out! I am ready to bring back up the cradle on the car after dropping it to change out the cradle bush, differential bush, toe rods, trailing arms, sways... But my question is... I forgot to mark the driveshaft so that i can put it back together exactly the way it came off. Does it matter if it doesnt go back on in the exact same holes? It should be balanced and shouldnt matter right? Also are those 3 bolts that u remove... Are they reusable? Do i have to get new ones? Someone on here thought they werent thats why im asking? Any tips?? Thanks everyone!!

I've had my driveshaft out three times already, i reused my old bolts just put a little locktite on them. they originally use lock nuts but after they are taken off they become a little weaker so the locktite will fix that. as for marking the shaft before taking it out - its always best to do that. i marked mine the first time and wouldnt you know it the marks rubbed off (because i used a shitty piece of chalk to make my mark) so i couldnt tell where it was . i installed the shaft in a different spot both times and had no problems so i think you'll be fine.

dont worry about balance with this style shaft, the shaft is balanced separately from the ends.

Speaking of drive shafts... I have a question for you guys. I spoke to a local performance shop and the guy on the phone was unsure, but he said he thought the LS3's come with aluminum driveshafts and the L99's do not. Is that true because I have never heard that or looked under my car to verify.

@ the OP: Blue loctite will be fine.

@ newagemuscle: The stock DS on the LS3 car is 2 piece steel.

Right, I was just adding to what you said so nobody thought it was different.
