Question In need of some insight

I'm looking into buying a TSP 229/236 .624"/.615" cam for my car. I know that I will have to buy a stall converter as well, but what should the ratings be with this type of cam? On the TSP website it states a 2500rpm+ converter is needed, but which rating of the converters would be most beneficial? If it means anything I want more low to mid range power than top end.

Please don't install the cam yourself... you might be asking for trouble. Just saying.
