Light-weight clutch and flywheel for LS3?

I've been researching clutches and flywheels and it's surprising that there's so little info out there on the weights of these things. Most marketing pieces just say "light-weight" without giving any specifics.

I've got a 2010 SS with a n/a build running less than 450 rwhp, M6 trans and I'm looking for a lighter clutch and flywheel than stock. Anybody have any recommendations along with the actual weights for the combo?

I would not want a lighter combo in the heavy camaro,we do have a twin with a aluminum fly wheel that would drop about 15lbs for you.Ill get the exact weight for you.

Thanks!

I've been reducing weight in mine. Right now with a full tank of gas it weighs in at 3,740 lbs. I'm working on getting it down under 3,700 without gutting it. A 15 lb drop would get me that much closer, but I am particularly interested in reducing unsprung and rotating weight. I know a lighter flywheel can save about 13-15 lbs but if I can also knock a few pounds off the clutch too that would be a bonus.

How has your weight reduction campaign been working our for you. Does the car feel much different as it slims down?

Absolutely. But I haven't been just reducing weight; I've specifically been reducing mostly unsprung and unsprung rotational weight which has the most impact on performance.

You can read about what I've done in my project thread:

I have the Mantic dual disc clutch and flywheel set. It reduced the weight about 20 lbs from the stock clutch and flywheel.

Our Lightweight Level 2 Clutch assembly weighs 42lbs total, so that would drop over 10lbs for you.
