Cover inside garage?

Hello all - I'm storing my 2011 2SS/RS Synergy Green this winter (Nov-Apr) inside a friend's very large garage (more like a warehouse). It will be stored up on a lift. I purchased a Tri-Guard Custom Outdoor Cover from Coverking, but in reading the forums, some say covers will mar the paint. The garage is heated, does have some windows, and the owner plans on occasionally working on one of his cars inside, but he doesn't expect it to be too dusty. Wind shouldn't be a factor except for when the garage door is opened. Should I use the cover for the six months it's in storage, or should I just throw on a nice coat of wax and leave it uncovered? Thanks in advance.

Cover it. Cover will not hurt a thing in those conditions.

Covers cause scratches when used on daily drivers, kept outside in dusty conditions, or when put on if a car isn't clean. Just make sure you clean the car and use the cover. It will help keep it clean.

I cover my cars in storage.

I've been covering cars for years, and not one of my covers has marred my car. It is important that you buy excellent quality covers (preferably with a guarantee), and it is also important that the car is clean and free from dust and debris when its covered.

You could always sell it to me and not have to worry about storing it

mine sets outside with an outdoor cover over it for 3.5 to 4 months each winter, I use gust guard clips and bungee cords to keep it secured, have yet to have and issue with "Marring" just as long as the car is clean when you put it on, and it is secured properly from moving you will not have any issues, inside you of course will not need the gust guards but there is nothing to worry about just as long as the car is clean when you throw it on!

I purchased a CoverKing Triguard cover, custom fit. I didn't consider the GFX package on my car, so it might sit a bit funny, but oh well. Thanks for the responses!

Sorry I don't. It came with the car new at the dealer. I would think a dealer could help you. They aren't cheap... but worth it for long storage and come with a tote for summer storage.
