just get gts covers. safer then painting any day because if you go to dark theres no going back. whereas with covers you can just take em off. here are what mine look like

I used a static cling set from thecamarodecalstore.com. $30.00 for the whole car set.

I had to take them out. Clean them with alcohol wet sand with 2000 grit sand paper and spray. Dry 30 mins, wet sand and repeat 3 times. Or less depending on how much light you want. At night it looks normal and never had problems with cops. Plus I've had covers on past camaros and people have stolen them right off my car. I don't think I have any pics on my phone though.

I got mine from chauffeperformance.com . He sells tint film for taillights (and other lights) and he has great customer service. It is owned by BLACK10 who is a forum member.

I ordered a set from Big Worm Motorsports (in TX, USA). They were very helpful. I did clear on the headlights and gunsmoke on the turn signals and fogs. It turned out great and the material they send you is very thick, so it will protect your lights as well as make them look good.

This is what I used also. He even made me a set for the head lights. No cops have stopped me yet. I have seen alot of them (cops) look right at the head lights and gave a thumbs up. The static looks good and lets a little more lite thru.

I also got mine from http://camarodecalstore.com. Great price and easy to put on and take off if you want.

I'll have to get some pics up so you can see how they look.

Inexpensive, and the shipping was really fast! I had mine in 3 days.

Post Headlight Armor has a few options available too.

We have 3 different shades of smoked available

The darkest - Headlight Armor Stealth Smoke on the signals

Standard Smoke on the fogs

I use camarodecalstore.com's static cling blackouts for my side markers, reverse lights and tail lights as well as their clear static cling headlight protectors. I've had them on since May and, fingers crossed, won't have any issues with the static cling. Though I could probably go rub a fluffy towel over them to re-charge it. :3

Pardon the crappy mobile phone camera. :p

Following up on my camarodecalstore blackouts. The side marker blackouts seemed like the static cling on the leading edges was weakening a little. I checked it and saw that they looked like they may have been peeling back at speed a little bit. I peeled them off, cleaned beneath them with glass cleaner then re-applied them and they are good as new.

It's sort of expected, but still a bit disappointing that I needed to do so, but I still like them for the fact that if Johnny Law gives me grief about them, I can just whip them off without anything but my fingernail.
