Question Brake Calipers

Hey you guys!

just wondering, if my brake calipers start to lose their color/fade is that covered under warranty? i dont know what could have caused them to become so faded, and they make my car look really bad. could the dealership replace them under warranty?

thanks!!!

That will be on a case by case basis. There's a bulletin telling dealers that its caused by the chemicals used to clean the wheels. All you can do is ask the dealer but if its all the calipers then I'm sure they will need to get the GM Rep involved.

Mine are faded (35,000 miles). I think they all fade eventually.
