Getting driveshaft bolts out.

I am removing the driveshaft bolts (3) 18mm to release driveshaft from differential but keeping the rubble flange on the driveshaft side. Well I am wondering how to turn the driveshaft to get the upper bolt out. And does anyone know the part number for these bolts as I have been told to replace them. Do I need to put loctite (blue) when putting new ones in?

Like Parag said, block the front wheels if they are not already, put the trans in neutral, and spin the shaft or wheels...

As for the bolts, yes it is highly recommended that you replace them if you remove them... mandatory, not really, but mechanically it is good advice... To secure proper torque and strength, bolts are tightened to a specific torque... This actually stretches the bolts and creates tension that holds the bolts from backing off... This tension creats friction between thee flanges they are holding which helps prevent side loading of the bolts. Too little torque, they back off and are side loaded leading to breakage... too much torque, and they are over stretched and this also leads to breakage...

If you can get them, and I do not have the part number, sorry... then use new ones with loctite and torque them to the specified torque...

It is 85 lb/ft per Pfadt's subframe bushing tutorial.
