HAHA tell me about it. I was thinking the exact same thing while taking the pics lol. I might leave them up there until I decide to drive it. It would make it easier to Install Panhard rod, LCAs, and SFCs if I wanna go that route

4x4 Mode! Lol, looks good man.

Just make sure when you install the suspension stuff you load the suspension when torquing. Creates bad binding in the suspension if you forget that.

Got ya
Yea if I would go that route id install them while on the jacks since it would give me some more room, then put the load on the suspension to tighten all the bolts up

Do you guys think its worth getting LCAs and a panhard rod for my v6? Or just let my car the way it is and save all that stuff for when I get an LS1 in the future. I would Like to get a posi, but I dont know if I will. I dont feel like tearing the rear end apart. Ive also been looking at some sub setups for this summer. I guess My dilema is whether to add some suspension stuff (LCAs, Panhard Rod, SFCs) and maybe a posi, or just get a nice sound system and take it to the track once in awhile???
Its mostly just going to be a nice weekend cruiser

Just remember all the suspension parts can be put on the LS1, so you wont be losing anything.

X2 plus if you plan on taking it to the track you'll want the LCA's for sure, and if you lower it the relocation brackets are needed too.

It's a cheap mod, so I'd prolly go for it. If you get an adjustable one you'd be set for when you do lower it, as you'll need to adjust it to the get the rear centered again.

You'll want to at a minimum buy the relocation brackets. When you lower the car the suspension geometry changes, and the relocation brackets bring them back into the correct position. You'll want to look into an adjustable PHB as the rear will not be centered after lowering.

http://www.ws6project.com/user_stor/...c79cbed3fd0cbe

You aren't required to get LCA's but the stock ones aren't the highest quality pieces. They're just stamped steel.

http://www.ws6project.com/user_stor/...c79cbed3fd0cbe

I've been running those for a few years now. Also if you can budget for it, the stock shocks don't take to kindly to lowering. It'd be best to upgrade those at the same time.

THIS
There is a lot more to lowering a car then some people think. I was tossing around the idea for awhile. I was looking at Lowering springs, Bilstein HD Shocks, LCAs, LCA Re-location brackets, and an adjustable PHB

Pretty good. Ordered them on a friday. Monday they were processed, Tuesday they shipped and I got them Wednesday. Pretty good Id say. Shipping was only $70. You gonna use the NT05 from DRs or what? I went with the NT555. Heard a lot of good stuff about them.

Im pretty sure lowering springs would kill your shocks eventually. If your gonna install the springs, might as well wait till you order some different shock and install them all at the same time
