Wow that's cool I would love to get Pumpkin on a wide open road course like that. Since the day I spent on the road course last April at C5F II I've been hooked.

Great videos stratman2SSRS, thanks for sharing

I haven't been to the track (drag or road course) with the Camaro yet but I've done a few laps at Mosport in my '02 Firehawk and it was an absolute blast!

Great vids and thanks for sharing! I really like your line on 5A/5B! Really enjoyed watching!

Here's one that I took in the spring - it's the last 1/2 of one of the morning sessions when the track was drying off:

and here's one from one of the afternoon sessions that has a little bit of "entertainment value" provided by some guy in a Corvette who looked like he was going around the track blindfolded and wouldn't let me pass him!

Pardon the quality - it was done with a smartphone (Samsung Android) suction-cupped to the windshield.

Best regards,

Elie

Nice videos Elie...........I have a feeling that Mr. Vette driver didn't want to have to deal with a bruised ego from being passed by a Caddy

LOL! That was my guess as well!! I tried to find him after the session to see what he was thinking, but I couldn't round him up.

Best regards,

Elie

5A/B still isn't perfect, but getting better. It's really is important to getting a good speed at the end of the straight away.

Here's one that I took in the spring - it's the last 1/2 of one of the morning sessions when the track was drying off:

Stay tuned in the spring for next years schedule.
It's the most fun you can have in your car.

I'll supply the tires Jeff so long as you use YOUR Camaro on THAT course And there can't be any of this over the bent and twisted body panels at the end of your run or over the under carriage damage.

He made that all look quite easy but I'm thinking driving that car for one of us right off the street would be the same as grabbing a Kangaroo by a hind leg

I really miss Mosport now that I have moved to Florida. We used to rent the track and have about 30 of our customers with their Lambos, Porsches and Ferraris blasting around all day. Would love to take my Camaro through corner 2!

A funny thing.

I actually lived a half mile from Mosport from '73-'83 when I was a kid. Can-Am races were held there and it was nuts, actually rode my bicycle around the track one hot summer day when the track was closed.
