I envy his collection. If I could just have ONE of his cars, I'd be a happy girl!

Of course Jay Leno has this car. I wonder how many cars he has now? Fastest car under $75K....the corvette Z06 must be the next fastest?

Close to 50/50 on balance and launch control - the car is nice.

So is 75K the price point? Has there been any other statements on the ZL1 price quoted by any other GM people?

I haven't heard any - but I think she is going to be under 70k. Mid 60 at most. I think they put 75k and under to include the price of the z06 - and the zl1 is faster.

Nice info here in vid. Wish I could buy the mag control suspension on the 2SS...do not need the HP but the mag control ride and the 5 levels of traction control would be a nice option...

I put in a call to GM President Mark Reuss to have him bring the car by my house so I could get a better look at it and take it for a ride. I have not heard from him yet. The ZL1 will be a wonderful car, I only wish that Jay Leno had said that this was the fastest production car under $60,000 instead of $75,000. Nice video though.

I think GM's using those comments to try to show value At least - that's what I hope ![]() Quote:

![]() ![]() Yeah - I'm hoping they're just using that example to alude to the value ZL1 will be. Seeing statements like those worry me...

Yes, me too. But if it is that high, then I will buy the CTS-V instead.

It is absolutely a droolmobile, but my gut says I'll never be able to afford it. I guess my SS and I have a long relationship ahead of us.
