MRT 1.0 question

I'm buying a used MRT 1.0 exhaust which was installed and welded on a car already. It's being cut off so my question, would I be able to still clamp the exhaust onto my car or am I stuck having to weld it on? It probably depends on where the shop cuts it off at but I'm not sure. I'd like to have it welded eventually but if I can get by with clamping it until I get the $$ to weld it then I'd rather do that. Any tips?

you cant really tell until you get them and see if the clamp will work. I got my mrt v2 installed at matawan auto on rt 34. he charged me $70, i got them clamped on, idk how much it is to weld tho

I got a Midas by me who said they'd do it for $100 tops. A buddy said he can weld for me to but I'm not sure what route I'll go until I get them in. Like you said I'll have to wait and see I guess. I can use any exhaust clamp right (obviously right size) with MRT they aren't special clamps or anything? I'm not too knowledgeable with this stuff so that's why I'm asking before I get too into it.

This is a used set that was previously welded on... so going to depend on how it was welded on and how it was removed...
