I believe that there should be an ample supply of ZL1's. The real problem is finding the dealers that are willing to sell this car at the MSRP. Not every future camaro buyer is going to be interested in this car for a variety of reasons.
Just the thought of having this car in my driveway, is just an awesome
feeling.

I agree that there will be enough to go around. When I was looking at C6 Vettes there was plenty of every model to go around.

Well, the dealers are going to want to keep one on the floor for attraction! If they do, see if you can lock up the "model home" on this! LOL.... My first house cost less than this car... so did my second house. So, I might just sleep in this a few times!

I agree, at first it was fun hearing everyone speculate but reading through the forums I am amazed at how negative and unproductive it has all become regarding the price. I don't think it is as complex as everyone is making it...it is a fine car and will make a great addition, will be glad when they announce the price for sure...then I guess everyone will start in on something else! like, breaking it in! lol

I say the following totally independent of the fact that I've got one on order...I do NOT think this way (but many do)...

There's an inherent value to exclusivity...the masses won't like it...but that's why it's called 'exclusivity'. GM does not tend to artificially limit production of their cars by setting a number and not passing it...and I don't think they're going to start with the ZL1...but I do think they've built a little fluff into the price to let economics do that job for them....

Also consider that the '12 MY will be half over when the start building...I doubt the '13 ZL1s will have this demand vs availability issue.
