WTB: Black locking fuel door

Let's just say an incident occurred and now I'd feel more comfortable having a locking fuel door. Trying to save a few pennies by buying a used one.

Try "don't park your car on the street in front of your house or else random strangers will put shit in your gas tank".

Did you get the locking gas cap? I bought one at the auto parts store for $14 Fuel door is next. Want my gas tank like a safe.

I looked at the OEM one and can't figure out how to get the little plastic retainer off without cutting it

You can't re use that ring. You pull it off the hinge on the fuel door, it's like a plastic button holding it in.
