Storing summer tires for the winter months

Question??
Is there a cheap option for storing tires (just tires) if there is no access to a garage (I.e in an apartment) ? Buying big plastic bags at the local home center or tire center has proven to be difficult. I think going to a website and buying specific tire storage bags is a little overkill.
Thanks guys. I appreciate all the smart helpful comments in here..

yes there is.....assuming you are talking about keeping them in an apartment......first store them laying down, stack them. buy a Queen or King sized sheet of the color you want (this is just if it matters ..... i.e. a female in the house makes a stink! LOL) and drape it over the tires.

if you have the room.....you could put two on one end of your couch and two on the other.......get two pieces of 2'x2' 1/2" plywood OR 1/2" Plexiglas and you need two sheets.....and you have two end tables.

I stacked mine in the corner in the basement. Threw an old sheet over them. Call it good for the winter.

I do like the end table idea. Great conversation piece.
