Funny, I was under the car yesterday getting ready to jack the car up and remove the wheels and install my new Heritage Grille and my wife came out yelling (almost hit my head on the frame) "What are you doing under the car?" She said it scares her with me under the car which I can understand and refuses to let me do any work under the car. I don't understand, I'm worth more dead than alive, lol. She went online and found a dealer to install the grille for $40. I wonder if she has to give benefits with that price.

Okay as a big guy with hams for hands I'm wondering is this worth the trouble? If you've got them please let us know how they do.

I love my headers. I've had the BBK long tubes for over a year now. For me, modding my car is something i love to do. Sure, sometimes it can be a pain, but the joy of getting it done, and doing it yourself...there's no better feeling, for me.

Took me a whole day and a half lol. Mainly because I didn't have the right tools from the beginning and had to run back and fourth to sears as I went. Next time I have to do this again I think I can knock it down in about 2 hrs max in my driveway.

mypuppysirious: yes, I think all of us who have LT got a CEL for the rear o2 unless I am missing something.

My concern is what Blade went through, "system not ready problem". Not sure if it will be a problem or not, inspection is not due for another 12 months. Just got the headers today. Was going to install them myself but going to take it to a performance shop let them see if I will really have a problem or not. If I will have one, I will sell these . Shame on me for not looking into it further.

I want long tubes for the extra power, I see bbk sells thiers with HFC, I have solo HFC and I pass with no problems, maybe I need to go that route instead

Took me and my buddy about 6 hrs to do miine - yes a big PITA! (access to lower bolts to remove headers and install new ones, though the aftermarket headers are better shaped and access seemed better with the install. O2 sensor harnesses - why sell something that needs modding to install? The BBK headers extensions were not long enough without adjusting the stock ones to reach and a slight mod with a stanley knife was required to connect the male & female plugs together. Oh and my engine was still warm after a 30 minute drive to his place to carry out the work, yep resulted in a few burns

I didn't get a CEL but then again I already had the Trifecta tune installed prior to me installing the headers so I guess the 13HP tune provided already takes into account the adjustment of the O2 sensors.
