hypertech tune choices

i got my tuner in the mail today and i would like to get some feedback.

I changed my rev limiter to +500.
Transmission shift points.
+300 for all gears
Shift firmness 75%
Intake choice rotofab

What you guys think? Is this optimal, and safe?

I had the above settings but shift firmness was at 50% took it for test drive. Felt it shifting really hard but didnt chirp. I want to hear that chirp lol.

Also friday or saturday im going to the track to see if time improved. My last week best time was 14.32

tune should be easily returned to stock, and change back again, right? I would recommend running the stock tune, or your previous setting, then going to your new settings, all on the same day. good luck!

no, i'm saying you should change it while at the track. so you can compare your times from the same day, rather than a different day, when the temperature or track preperations are probably different.

I'm not sure if there is a learning curve for the hypertech tune though. For instance, i'm not sure if you have to drive 200 miles before the new tune kicks in.

Oh i see. Yeah that make sense. I have 3 runs. So first i will run stock, second tuned. I will play with the tune on the 3rd run.
Thanks for the advice.

Cool

I put the hypertech tune in on a friday. Then put the port TB on the next friday. I ve been driving for about 2 1/2 weeks and it seemed to get alittle better each day. Alot more of the la has gone out of it.
