Ok guys and gals, We at Camaro South are working on releasing information on Camaros for Heroes II to raise money for The Wounded Warrior Project. We are looking at some different things for next year so details are still in the works.

For the ones who came in 2011... we all know Friday evening was the best and we had an awesome turnout, but then the weather turned off on us and really hurt us saturday and sunday. For the ones who were signed up for Camaros to the Maxx, If you still want to have a place to go, we will have the opportunity set up soon, so please stay tuned, subscribe to this thread, as I will updating going forward.

Since we added the updates, I'm going to summarize and clean up the post a little bit so its less clutter!

We will have many awards to hand out, many raffle items to include Car Cams, 1000 hp axles and more.

Schedule (Tentative)

June 15th (Friday) UPDATED
Arrive at the hotel, vendors arrive and 30 mile cruise around town, auction, Custom Lights show and trophies FOR 1ST. 2ND, 3RD place.. and then Camaro Social in parking lot! There is a Harley Davidson Dealer next door, and we usually meet there as a club, and we have their permission to use it this night as well, So plenty of parking.

June 16th (Saturday)
Racing, Car Show, Dyno, Vendors.
We have a band reserved for this night at ITZ Sports Bar which is next door to the hotel, so please attend; we have the patio area reserved!!

RPM Motorsports will be hosting a bracket race starting at 4pm to 6pm. There is a $10.00 additional charge to enter the race and you will have time up to the race to enter and set your time. The follwing prizes will be awarded:
1st place: Wins the pot, $150.00 RPM Motorsports gift certificate and trophy
2nd place: Wins $50.00 RPM Motorsports gift certificate and trophy
3rd place: Trophy

June 17th (Sunday)
Breakfast and Depart

the spymaster is donating 2 car cams valued at 450.00 each for raffle items, and will donate $1000.00 to the Wounded Warrior Project if all 2000 tickets are sold for Veteran 1..

The auction is going to be done at the Hotel on Friday evening after the cruise.

Steve!!! Great to see this pop up and this may be the first event I can go to after getting home; so I am really hoping for a great show.

As the XO when I get back, I will have a close connection with the Wounded Warrior Battalion at Lejeune, as well as up to 5 of my Marines who were wounded by IEDs during my deployment--so I am going to try and work a caravan of sorts for them to come to the event.

I know I can't help too much to organize until I get back; but count me in to help execute on the weekend you all pick!

Its in Fayetteville again. Bad thing is that its the same weekend as All-Chevy Supernationals in Pigeon Forge and our club has already committed to show at that event.

Ok... I have attched the event flyer on the OP. We are gonna be announcing the hotel details shortly... It won't be the same as last year... We are looking at changing some things from last year, and to make it more exciting for everyone. Keep your fingers crossed for great weather.. We hope to have all the details laid out within a few weeks.
