Yep...it's the same setup but mine came from FORE. This setup outperforms the triple 225 setup and is good for up to around 1500 hp according to FORE. I think the ID1000s would be ok but I'd check with an expert and personally I'd err on the big side when it comes to this power level. A good tuner can make the ID2000 injectors sing just fine in an engine like you are building.

So was hoping to have it started this past Friday but missing connectors for the trans brake has not allowed that....so Monday is the new day. We'll see.

On a side note......it's kind of cool to have a magazine cover car!

Thanks all......still a lot of little stuff to do like get the charge pipe coated and a windshield back in it...get it tuned and tweaked etc.

We're also pulling the 31 spline center section out of the 9" with the 3.89 gear and upgrading it to the S-Trac 33 spline unit with a 3.50 rear gear. Frank is the man....anyone who deals with anyone else on their differential stuff is a nut.

I'm just pumped that there is finally light at the end of the tunnel.
