E85 requires tune?

can someone give info about e85. I tried searching found couple of E85 dyno threads but doesnt explain how to get E85 to work with the car.

need to contact Vince from trifecta and ask him for a e85 tune and since i already had the cables he just charged $100 for the tune

you must of didn't search good enough because I explained a few times on what it takes for you to run e85 in my past e85 threads lol. just messing with ya

anyhow, YES! As michael said, you can get the tune from vince and he is the only one at this time that will write you a tune for extra fuel, valve timing, and spark advance, to make your LLT run on ethanol and to get the extra power.

wow thats fast i just hope when i go to the track again with all the new mods to hit a decent time hoping for mid 13's but who knows

with all of those mods you should. Also when you are on e85 its very important that you guys keep a good track of ecu logs. If everything seem fine now that doesn't mean it will be a month later, and if your data is in the safe zone that also doesn't mean it's optimal. Invest in a good data logger. Your car will love you for it and you can also have a piece of mind which is just priceless.

It will all depend on the DA you catch the day at the track. The colder the better.

yea im going to have to do that i just sent a datalog to vince 2 days ago and he said all is good, but im going to get one i can moniter everyday

Not necessarily. I have a laundry list of mods and am barley in the 13's. Thanks a lot terrible DA..
