Actually red looks good with yellow, my bike wheels where painted red and bike is yellow, it looks good!

Where did these codes come from? They don't seem to be found here:

http://eogld.ecomm.gm.com/NASApp/dom...&page=&butID=1

I have to question the DSW code here or the description ‘Carbon Fiber Appearance’. According to Fbodfather:

If the optional exposed weave carbon fiber hood extractor is ordered along with a stripe package, the stripe becomes a dark gray metallic stripe along with the molded-in-color black sharkfin antenna on the roof.
Hope that answers your questions.
(........and my thanks to Cheryl Pilcher, our Camaro Product Manager for confirming the answer!)
Has anyone been able to successfully order the gray stripe or exposed weave CF?

I pulled them from the Online Order Guide and the copy of my order from the dealer. Also from what other members sent me or were added to this thread. If they are not correct, let me know, but this is the most current information I have to date. I believe more changes to the order guide will occur as the week goes on.

The DSW stripe code was available to order for me but not the code for the exposed carbon fiber insert. I passed on the DSW option for now.

Thought this one was interesting: Option Code TCR - Handling Charge from Oshawa Plant, to Ground Effects LTD, Whitby Ontario, back to Oshawa Plant.

Does this mean they take the car somewhere else to have the ground effects installed? I wouldn't think so, but maybe.

No big deal if they do, just an observation.

I'm about to leave for a little bit...but I recall the ordering guide that we're not supposed to know about () listed the microsuede inserts as standard interior appointment, and the suede steering wheel and shifter as optional (like in the CTS-V)
Addition to your info. The only check box on the order was one for leather steering wheel and shifter handle. So, I guess that means if one does not check that box, then the microfiber optional steering wheel and shift handle gets produced. The quick order form is lacking details.

Thanks, I will add them to the list. Like I said not all options are listed because they are available for all Camaros. I was trying to make the list more ZL1 specific.

Can someone tell me if remote start is optional on the Z? It shows above that it's optional, but my dealer says it's standard. It's on my order form as BTV. Thx

I don't think it would be standard if your car is a 6 speed manual...

Sooo, if it can't be standard on both models, then your answer is no it's not standard?

From what I have read I was simply commenting that if your car is a 6 speed manual shift (MN6) you can't get the remote start irregardless. From what I have read in other posts anyway...
Just using my order as a guide I have a 6 speed manual ordered.
OPENER
UG1 Universal Home Remote which is probably nothing more than the key fob.
I would think this would be the standard "norm" on most MN6 orders.

Team,
Can someone explain that has ordered a automatic, is not (sorry for bad grammer) the remote start optional even on the automatics?
IE, it costs more and is an option only?
Thanks fellas!
