Looks like we're all in about the same boat. I'm actually kind of hoping we got picked to go through QC. The vert top threads are scaring me...

Dirty D - what level tint are you going to go with with your color? I think 25% is max in Texas, but I've been thinking about 30 or 35% on my 45th.

I suppose the only way we'll know if one of our cars goes to QC is if one of them doesn't get bayed again by tomorrow or Friday. From what I've seen, cars that go to QC can be there for several days. That might be a good thing though, as you say. I'm sure hoping there aren't any top problems. I think I'll leave the dealer with the top up just to make sure there isn't a lot of wind noise (that I've read about) coming from the rear. When I get home I'll flood the roof with water to make sure it doesn't leak and then keep a real close watch for wear marks. I'm hoping that by now Chevrolet has worked out all the problems...but I have read reports from guys with 2012 models saying they are having problems. Let's keep our fingers crossed and hope that what we've read is coming from a very small minority.

I put about 130 on her last night, half of that was just getting home from the dealer.

The dealer is doing the stripes because I originally wanted IOM Rally stripes but when I placed my order it wasn't an option from the factory like it was with the CGM previously.

So, I talked to the dealer and decided to even more different than Gray with IOM stripes, I'm going to put a IOM Synergy Stripe on it.

Why did you stray so far from Killeen to buy the car... I know the answer to that. I bought mine 45 miles south of my house and passed by three dealers that seemed convinced I would gladly give them MSRP.

I'm looking forward to more pictures, especially once the stripes are on.

Me 3 - undecided whether I want it quicker, or want it through QC. Quicker would mean I could get a little of my life back instead of following gmconnects all the time. Mind you that will probably be replaced by time spend ordering and tracking mods... I hope that bug doesn't bite too hard!

All three should be on the same train, I guess. Anybody know how to find out when they are loaded and the railcar number? Hopefully that train leaves Friday. For the last batch with TPW 11/14, I believe their train left on friday, 18 Nov.

On page 3 of this thread, post #57, I posted the directions for tracking the rail car.

If you think watching gmconnects was aggrivating, wait until you can track the train.....it can change 7-10 towns in a day and is updated every few hours.

I would only check gmconnects twice a day....the RR....twice an hour if I could!

Once you know your car is loaded on the train, call your dealer and he/she can get you the rail car # and then you can track the rail car to it's destination.

I hate to say it, but be patient, gmconnects runs a day or so behind. I took delivery on Tuesday and gmconnects didn't even show it arrived at my dealer until Thursday.
