Safe width of tires on Z28 rims

Okay, so I really want some Blizzak WS70's for my winter tires, is a 225/60 safe? I know the smallest width tire from the factory was a 235.. help Please

damage, tirerack has no snow tires listed for any z28..

Yes They're the 16 inch z28 snowflakes. i'm just gonna go for it. I've seen worse when it comes to skinny tires one wide rims

I'm going to hit up the local tire store this week to see if they offer 245 WS-70s. They're on sale for the season over here so I'm going to check into them to replace my old Comp T/A all seasons on the factory set I saved.

Or this:

For under 2K. Would rather drive a Roadmaster though, supposedly better quality.

That's kinda the point.. not to mention an optional LT1 since '93 and OBDII by 1996. Change out some pumps and lines, refit for an LS radiator..

Pick an LSX..

Stock it can tow 5K lbs.

And it's cushy..
