I'm thinkin'.....aol is not a valid source for performance specifications......

Let Motor Trend or Edmunds compare data to their 2010 times and see if it's slower...

Probably tested a car that the dealer filled up with 87 octane. That will result in a 5.2 0-60. That and a crap driver.

I didn't know AOL was a legitimate source for car tests.

honestly if you search for 0-60 times on the internet for 3 different cars, you will probably find 5 different times listed for each, at least. a car's 0-60 and weight have to be the most grossly screwed up stats found on the interweb.

I used AOL, but only for one thing...Neverwinter Nights. It was the precursor to all the MMORPG's. Based off the Gold Box TSR D&D games, it allowed you to play in a single world (no shards) which could have "gasp" hundreds of other people playing at the same time. EGA graphics, and 2D turn based combat.

It was awesome for the time, but the only downside was having to have AOL to play it.

Some guy posted a spreadsheet he made where you can find your 0-60 with time slip info. I didn't check all his math but it looks decent.

Yea, but 4.1 is ridiculous for simple bolt-ons. Maybe if you were running slicks...............and spraying lol. I mean that's coming awfully close to super car territory.

There are online calculators that do that as well. Not sure how accurate. Mine was 3.5 sec. 0-60 mph.

I was running drag radials. It's all about traction. For my stock time traction was nonexistent.

Nope, just the usual bolt ons. I dynoed 426 rwhp.

Those aren't accurate at all. They only take your HP and weight into account. This one users actual true time slip data. Take 10 different cars with the exact same HP / weight and you will get 10 vastly different 0-60 times. Take ten different cars with as many differences as you want but they all run identical (in every aspect 60', 330', 660' & 1320') 1/4 mile time slips and they will all have similar 0-60 times.

I have heard times as low as 0-60 in 4.4. times like 5.2 seems odd, unless its a fully load vert with upgraded wheel, Ground effects, and so on.

So how do I figure it?

The one I used only took my 1/8th mile and my MPH at the 1/8th if I remember right. But it used my time slip info. 3.5 is a tad faster than I'd ecpect.

I was using a set of 18" wheels with DRs with the tire pressure set to 14 psi.

The link I posted takes into account your 60', 330' & 660'. The more info you use, the better.
