Mods you wish you hadn't done

Well, since that other thread just started about the cost of your total mods, that got me thinking.

So, what mod do you wish you hadn't done or had done differently, and why, i.e. - waited until you got the money for better parts, new parts have come out since then, etc...?

I'll start... my wheels. While I love them and get tons of compliments on them, I wish I had gone with a lighter, 20" wheel rather than a heavier, 22" wheel. Those Giovanna Kilis are Killin' me. And, yes, that's a pretty costly mistake, since new wheels are now on my list of upgrades, again, for next year.

I love all my mods... but not all of the previous owners. They have these great looking 22" Lexanis. I really want some lightweight 18"s with somewhat low profile.

Thankfully, I haven't regretted any of my mods. I did a lot of research on every component prior to purchase.

Most everything I buy I wait until I have the money so I can go the quality route, i.e. ARH Headers/Cats, light weight 20" wheels, etc. About the only thing I regret is getting my rear pirelli's replaced with pirelli's again rather than better gripping tires (for the drag strip).

I probably shouldn't have gotten the tired for the SS rims. I want lightweight 18" rims with DR's. 1100 could have went toward those, and just kept my stock LS rims on.

I do love the look of 20" on the camaro though.

My wheels. I should have got chrome wheels with a lip instead of black, mesh-style wheels.

CAI. I should have sprung for the Injen long tube, instead of the short ram. At the time (a year ago) I was worried about hydro-locking.

But what can you do...

JBA shorty headers- at the time I thought they'd be an easier install and I didn't think I'd be getting a tune (to alleviate the CEL).

Turns out its a tougher install (cutting, welding) and I got the Trifecta tune (with cables- thanks devildoc) anyway. And the longtubes make more power!
