I like the look. How well can you see the 4 guages under the radio on a SS? Possible pic? Any chance of ordering plate kit + stereo together?

Just a heads up, that kit you listed from crutchfield is the metra... the scosche has a touchscreen in place of the buttons on the bottom of that metra kit

It's a pretty easy install as well:

Pop out the center console/4-pack gauge piece, then there are 2 screws on the bottom:

Screw on side allows enough room to slide stock cover out:

Only one plug connecting to the piece:

And that's it!

It's a 6.1" capacitive touch screen radio. If I buy this Scosche kit and the radio do I need anything else or will the radio fit in the kit fine? Do I need to buy any additional trim pieces? If you could let me know, I'd appreciate it.

but the app radio has just one cinch output, so you cant change the volume for front/rear/subwoofer separatly

What is the story on this optional Onstar part for the GM5201b Dash kit - "CAMOSM"? I know you need the Antenna Adapter kit if you're putting in an aftermarket radio - but really - can someone please set the story straight? Thx....

Never mind looks like another $40 for the adapter....

Will this kit allow the user to retain the USB connectivity in the arm rest as well as the phone control if the aftermarker stereo is bluetooth enabled? Great looking product!!!

The kit has nothing to do with whether or not the PDIM (armrest module) is retained or not. That function is dependent on the headunit you go with and as far as I know, there is no headunit that allows you to retain that and instead is done either via USB connector on the new unit or via bluetooth streaming to the new unit. The phone bluetooth I'm not sure on. There's some units that have that built in to them and some don't. I don't know of any that allow you to retain the factory phone bluetooth.
