I'm curious about the side passenger ones. The hole idea sounds good to me as I'm always looking for extra room for coffee cups when buying a few..
Does the way it mount secure the holder firmly so when putting in two full cups in doesn't bend or fall out? Also does the way it mount ruin or warp the plastic? How exactly does mount? From one of the pictures I've seen it looks like it goes under the passenger mat? Kind of weird if so.....

Yes it secures very well. Have had mine for 2+ years and have used it with a variety of bottles / drinks

I didnt fully answer sorry, there is a plastic piece that is part of the cup holder the slides under the center console trim. It's hidden. The only downside which doesn't bother me is you can't move the seat all the way up.

Thanks man I appreciate your help with this. I just ordered one. Got 20 percent off and free shipping for cyber Monday.
I'll have to wait till the dreaded winter passes though to fully try it out.

That's a great price unpaid over $50 for mine when they first came out, still worth it though

Nice!! How does it affect legroom in the front seat?

I got one about a month ago love it great add. I also got a piece that fits in where OEM cup holders are to make that an armrest much better ergonomics for a stick shift car. My wife has no problem with it but she is 4'10 105 lbs. A big guy may have it against his leg but it slides front to back easy enough and can be pulled out and put back in in 15 seconds if its a real problem for a passenger.

I rarely have a passenger (my son rides in the back) but when my wife rides in it she has no problem. She is 5ft 10.

How big of a cup do these hold (as in cup width/diameter)? My wife and I have reusable water bottles and only one of the current cup holders fits them, if these are big enough I would order some in a heartbeat.

Buying the front ones now, looks like it has something to slip under the plastic trim to secure it?
