Single LED? Won't need two...one on either end? following with interest.

Hmm. Have most people used an LED on each end?

That's how a lot of them are doing it...simply because the passenger side light pipe is so long and the light tends to fade out towards the end. We usually put in one on either end, fishing the wire behind the dash to the far right end. It just gives even light all the way across. if you are using the same GM LED to light this, might want to use two.

The passenger side dash is too long for one LED to illuminate it. You need one on both ends.

Has anyone tried the flex on the driver's side yet? I'm curious if it cuts down the gap.

Could you provide a list of color options? Couldn't find one on your website.

what color options? The light pipes are clear plastic with a white back. The "color" comes from an LED that is on the end. You can get them from your GM dealer.

Hey Steiger, question for you (and its most likely a dumb one), for doing the doors it'd obviously be best to go with the flexible pipes but would going rigid be ok with the dash section or should I just stick with flexible pipes throughout the car?

The Tyco pipes are rigid, so you should be fine. They do have some give in them, but no where near what the flexible ones have.

For those of you adding ABL across the dash, are you wiring it to the dimmer so you can control it like the door ABL?

Sure, you can wire it in to one of the dimming circuits.

As far as LED colors go, we can supply anything, but, if you want the GM harnesses, they are much more expensive. Any high-output LED will work with shrink tubing to hold it on the end of the pipe.

Ugh. Sorry guys. All of the pipes in this shipment are defective. More info as it develops.

Hopefully we can work it out this week still. My salesperson is at the factory this week, so, there is a silver lining.
