Which headers to get????

The past year i've focused mainly on cosmetics on my V6 camaro, this next year its performance. I currently have Flowmasters exhaust, but I want more horsepower gains and a better sound. I know getting headers will help but Im not knowledgeable in this area. Anyone have suggestions on what they've done to their car? Any suggestions are appreciated.

First off, we recommend long tube headers. Shorties are nice but just don't make power like long tubes will. I also recommend high flow cats over off road connection pipes. We carry several brands (BBK, ARH or Stainless Works are our favorites) for the V6 but anything in stainless steel is a pretty good choice. Check out our site and shop around, then hit us up for a Camaro5 discount.

Doug Thorley shorties are nice! Give good power and sound, for a fair price.

You won't pass inspection with off road pipes, you also get the smell and a raspier exhaust.

I'd also recommend getting long tube headers. Only because everyone I know who got shorties ended up trading them in for long tubes.

I think you'll dig them. Made in America so theyre not the cheapest but you'll enjoy the quality. And no cats/HF cats? No problem.

You'll love the power gains you get with LT's. VS. shorty's too.

Even with a tune would you still not pass emissions? and what about power wise would you lose maybe 1 - 2 hp not that thats a big deal

Your tune won't help you pass emissions.

All they do is just plug into the OBD2 port to pass or fail it they dont sniff it at all would that still be the case and would hi flow cats fix that issue?
