air intake not calibrated correctly and finally doing a cel? Did he take out the paper filter he put in last week and put the other back in? Maybe that did it

No same filter and it was doing that before. He thinks it's one of the couplers mainly the one on the tb, it's shifted and silicone so when it gets hit it might let in air. He'll check it later and I gave him my code reader so he can check it

Ok...Intake all re-worked...lol...I'd have to say it was the inlet tube at the throttle body and the coupler....It was pretty far out of whack...In fact the tube was actually angled downward and was hanging about 1/2" farther out of the coupler from where it should have been...lol...all good now...something to keep an eye on...

Thanks Steve for the reader and the "research"...lol...

Had the same problem with the airaid on the v6, hard to make sure it stayed tight and the tube didnt slip out at open up at the bottom where you didnt notice it.

I marked a ring around the tube flush with the coupler to see if it moves on it's own over time....

Good idea. Does that mean it has " ring around the collar"?

Well the bathroom is almost done. They finished up today.Just waiting to get some custom shaped glass shelves for the cabnet and the shower door will be here by Friday

Next the tiles for the kitchen, utility room, a side gate and later painting of the outside woodwork and some work to the other bathroom.

In the meantime shortie headers and solo highflow cats for the Baron

Why shorties? Why not just go long tubes with the green cats? Either way you kill the warranty with headers and they aren't hard to put on. Texas speed has good reviews and they're cheap

Shorties dont kill warranty that I have heard, will check with Camino on that. Tune would with LT's. Yeah lots to think about.18-22 hp with What I want or 30 or so with a tune and screw the warranty, never had a problem with a Chevy v8 ever, and the LS3 is built strong.
A little more with LT's no tune, But best to tune so around 35-40 that way or somewhere around that number.Shorties smog legal(some)and cats can be removed easy at smog time in 4.5 years. Kooks green cats setup is big $$ but the way to go maybe if doing LT's. More concerned on maybe future random checks by cops if that starts to happen and the fines for lt's. then there is the ground clearance lowered.

You aren't safe if Tom's on the track lmao. Any header would kill that part of the warranty, the dealer will tell you yea either way. Put them on then take them off if shit goes wrong.

119 degrees at chuckwalla people where dropping left and right from heat stroke and heat exhaustion......the 2 ambulances were busy allll day....they actually shut the track down early for heat...lame and I kind of feel cheated from shifts3ector.

aside from me trashing a used set of 1le tires my car was great....the brakes had zero fade and the new experimental pads from racingbrake were GREAT! my coolent, oil and transfluid all stayed withen safety specs just the tires are complete junk. Was running pretty slow due to the heat and the tires I was not happy with anyways. Was in a open passing group with 4 other cars....i could keep up with Ryne for like a lap then he would disappear Matt in a vette was the fastest and in last place in our group was a GTR...kind of felt bad for him hehe

One of our group did a digital heat test of the asphalt in the parking area at 140 degrees. Long day and exhausted....wont be going to chuckwalla again unless its winter time
