Done fabbing for the night. Got the 3.25" hole done for the rad cap. colant overflow hole in the cover is fine as is. After setting the cover in place rad hole is off to the drivers side just a bit, but not bad since it was difficult to measure and line up before the hole was done and set the cover down in position . Brackets are off but as to be expected. will adjust them but have them marked to the cover for new holes.The hole being off, I will figure something out as I want to hide the rad neck that is visible.I slit some gas line and fit it around the whole, it may work,looks like a colar, can be positioned to hide the off centerness of the whole and help hide the rad stuff you can see.Later can paint it black also and will blend in.

THESE ARE AMBER Steve! I can't help it people are color blind! This guy wrote me up for Sec. 25109...which is running lamps. I can get it dismissed on that alone. My running lamps are WHITE!!! Showstoppers side markers are true yellow, though.

Tommy, this was in front of the liquor store. I know these cops just hang out there to catch drunk drivers. He probably wanted to smell alcohol on my breath and hit me for DUI, but I hadn't been drinking. I was buying my stash and headed to the house for the night. . I'm gonna embarrass this guy in court. It's a correctable ticket, and when I go to court, I'm gonna say what running lamps? what he's talking about. LoL. Technically yes, they're NOT legal. The color is legal, but since they don't reflect, they're illegal. The color is fine.

I rev'd up in front of his face too when I left. He was being a dick, so I was too. See ya in court officer Morabe!

Lol, so am I. They weren't on, so he probably didn't notice them. He was also too busy writing me a laundry list of items to ruin my day, then proceeded to tell me that my mods were likely expensive and wanted to know how long it took to do, and how much they were. I showed Officer Morabe my driver's license, and it's from Missouri. He saw my military base sticker, and asked if I was active duty. Technically, I am since my end of active service isn't til Aug 31st. I asked him "why the f u c k do you wanna know?" My license is valid, my registration is current...that's none of your f u c k i n g business. He wanted to know who installed the lights..again "none of your f u c k i n g business." Since I'm bald, what color my hair should be...this time "red, I'm the f u c k i n g Joker...wanna see me go ape shit?" I was being a real dick to this guy. I just don't have time for silly shit.

Yep, exactly! I'm more than likely just gonna have my brother sign it off, but part of me wants to go ape shit on this officer in court. He wrote me up for the wrong section in the first place. Sec. 25109, my running lamps are white, so WTF he's looking at. Even 25109 says running lamps (which are to be white) shall not be on at night, except if the vehicle is parked. I WAS PARKED at the liquor store. LoL.
