Yeah pretty close to my estimate of $52,995.
I wonder GGT will add to it, then taxs so yeah approaching 60k if you
ad some options to it.
There saying release of the convertible during the summer, I wonder when
they will be rolling into peoples driveways. Before Camaro fest 3 in August?

I think the two times posted are for the two types of transmissions, both
are very close.

184mph, Shows even with 580hp that aerodynamics / drag plays a HUGE part

I'm not sure I agree with that - doesn't it mean a one foot roll out as is common at most 1/4 mile tracks? Helps to shave about .3 seconds off the time.

Yes, but that is why I say that it really does not state that but with the numbers this motor is putting out, it should be in the 11's.

The rolling start only makes sence if you are at a drag strip. You have a bout 11" or roll before the clock starts , this allow you to pick up speed before the time starts ticking. Sooooo, on the street you would get a bit slower 0 to 60 than your time slip would show.

In reality it's around 4 seconds. Hellafun no matter how you look at it.

.

The price is within the range I expected. Somewhere in between very much worth it and I can't afford it. I had said 52880. When talking with folks I've been saying I expect between 52-55k.

I'm just a touch surprised that we didn't get <12 in the quarter. That was important to me. That is the only place where I am non-astounded.

It's a done deal. My price barrier was always 55k base.

One more tenth of a second in the quarter would have meant a lot to me, but I guess that will just give me a short term goal with mods.

Is the Auto option going be the same engine or are they going to sneak in an AFM feature on a different engine like the SS models?

who finances for 36 months? Money is so cheap right now 72 months at sub 3% interest rates for excellent credit is the way to go!

Especially the Automatic. It will be easy $60K to drive one off the lot.

It may be a bargin, but in today's economy $60K is a ton of money.

To people with lots of spending money, its no big deal. But to the average working man, its a lot of money. Many were hoping (especially last year when the news first came out about the ZL1), that the car would be less expensive.

i think this car will break into the 11's stock quite soon and i even bet the dreaded mags will get a faster 0-60 and 1/4 mile time. not by much but prob .1 in 60 and .1 or .2 in the 1/4
