it does when there is a 2 3/4" clamp missing and a bolt/nut missing pipes dont fit into each other...the freaking hanger for the drivers side pipe is welded on wrong so yea...gg Hooker...the SLP Y-Pipe had 0 issues. you would think when a company sells something like this that they would test fit pieces before boxing it up...

your a/c comes on when you use the defroster, it keeps the windows from steaming up.

The kind where you realize that

A: Some exhaust kits require PHB relocators without realizing it

and

2) I is poor and can't weld 'em on yet.

Had it up in the air yesterday and in the least.. I've got fitment issues over the passenger side that's preventing the pipe from centering on the right side. Either hits the upper panhard bar mount or it hits the upper bar itself.

Less than an inch clearance all around (except toward the driveshaft..) So I either gotta pull the pipe end off the passenger out and bend it to gain an extra inch (therefore centering the tips) or I pull the drivers side in closer to the center of the fascia.

At least $120 shop time and a days worth of work to get it properly centered and not too close to anything (which is what would happen if we centered it as is). Could cost more but strictly shop time since that's all I'm paying for: Welding/Bending/Fitting/Extra 4 letter words.

Wut.

I wasn't doing the swinging. I think it's more a welding **** up/lack of tools. If you saw my car in person you'd probably notice it after staring for 20 seconds from the rear: He added about 2-3 inches of sheet metal on the B pillar arch and when he welded the quarter subassembly.

Needs another pull that the puller wasn't capable of but other than that, it's good for now as a DD/fun car.

Oh, and for those wanting to see the mock up shots, I'll post 'em. They aren't bad, but its nothing close to how it's going to look (I hammered one of the tips onto the pipe without adjusting anything else.)

Pretty sure your pinion seal finally gave out. Changed mine out within 2 months of driving, rubber just gets old. My pumpkin on the other hand just isn't sealing right, so I may just shell out for a new cover and start bulletproofing the G80 while I'm at it (rather than go strange or 12 bolt/whatever).

I know my driveline shop is gonna "WTF" when I call 'em later today. This will be their 3rd attempt at sealing it up.

Those tips look pretty cool. Being black they won't show dirt and soot very well which is nice. My tips get dirty after a day of driving.

Pinion seal, easy fix. I had to do it on my sisters car.

Filed the taxes today: 880 due back. Stash 250 for hotel stay with my A&P testing leaves me 630 to play with for Headers/Y-Pipe.

TSP 1 7/8s LT and ORY? Might as well finish out my TSP system.

Prolly ask for a Tune, Gaskets, Bosch O2s, and possibly plugs for the ol' 25th birthday.
